In May 2026, exports of combed 54.8-66S cotton yarn fell by 1.1% year-on-year; combed 30.4-46.6S dropped by 1.4%; combed 66S and above decreased by 2.1%; exports of combed 8.2-25S rose by 76.3% year-on-year; while exports of combed ply 8.2-25S yarn declined by 10.3%.
From the perspective of export destination structure, in May 2026, China's cotton yarn exports to Pakistan accounted for 35.89% of the total, down by 9.43% year-on-year; while combined exports to Vietnam and Bangladesh represented 29.56%. During the same period, total exports to the three major markets of Pakistan, Vietnam and Bangladesh reached approximately 11,500 tons, accounting for 66.41% of total cotton yarn exports, with a year-on-year decline of 3.1%.
