Recently, Xinxiang Chemical Fiber has reached a strategic cooperation agreement on the application of OnceMore® dissolving pulp with the largest forest owner association in Sweden and the international forest industry group Södra, which has become the only Chinese textile enterprise that uses recycled textile pulp. Previously, Xinxiang Chemical Fiber had nearly 5 years of cooperation with Södra. The new type of OnceMore® dissolving pulp supplied by Södra will be used in the production of BaiLu-ECO regenerated cellulose fiber products, achieving the world's first industrial production of regenerated cellulose filament from recycled textile pulp by chemical methods. It will greatly promote the industry's transformation towards green recycling of regenerated fibers.
The OnceMore® dissolving pulp technology is the world's first industrial-scale process technology to achieve recycling of blended fabrics. The raw materials come from post-consumer waste textiles and industrial waste, extracting cellulose fibers from discarded fabrics to produce dissolving pulp. Through closed-loop production processes, the fibers are spun into regenerated cellulose fiber products, creating endless possibilities for the full life cycle of regenerated cellulose fiber products.
Taking into account both the present and the future, the two parties will integrate the development path of production, life, and ecology to continuously increase the proportion of recycled content in OnceMore® dissolving pulp. By driving the end-to-end supply chain of textile recycling with green technology, they aim for sustainable development to realize the ecological value and promote the green production and lifestyle, coordinating pollution reduction and carbon reduction to enhance efficiency and foster a high-quality and sustainable development landscape.
